Chapel Buddy Game Day!

The 1st Graders have been so excited about their 7th Grade Chapel Buddies all year long. Mrs. Miller and I matched our students together at the beginning of the year, and the students have been meeting up, making cards for one another, and sharing smiles every time they see each other. Once a month, the students get to sit with their Chapel Buddy at Chapel on Wednesday morning. Their relationship grows as they chat a little, help each other out, and give hugs when we get back to class.

On Tuesday, May 31st, the 1st Graders brought in board games from home. They got together and played their games and exchanged what they had made for one another. The 1st Graders wrote a letter of appreciation to their buddies. The 7th Graders made their buddies personalized books all about the Lord’s Prayer. It was so special and such a fun way to wrap up the year together!
