Parent Resources

FACTS SIS (Student Information System) is a Comprehensive School Management Solution connecting administrators, teachers and parents. St. John's utilizes FACTS SIS' anytime, anywhere access for students and parents in kindergarten through 8th grade. Parents are able to access homework, grades, class lists and more via computer or through the FACTS SIS app.

Google Classroom is mission control, designed with teachers and students to connect the class, track their progress and achieve more together. St. John's utilizes Google Classroom in 5th through 8th grades. Students receive their own individual logins to help track assignments, memory verses and more.

St. John’s Lutheran School is partnering with My Hot Lunchbox to deliver fresh, customizable meals from local restaurants straight to our school. Ordering opens two weeks before school starts, and you can easily manage everything via their online platform or mobile app. All menu items are allergen-labeled to ensure a safe option for every student. Keep an eye on your inbox for account creation instructions, or download the app today to get ready!

We are excited to use ParentSquare for school-to-home communication, bringing district, school, and classroom updates together in one central place. Through this unified platform, you will receive important announcements, digital permission slips, and direct messages from your child’s teachers via email, text, or the mobile app.
Fundraisers
St. John’s Lutheran School strives to provide the best to our students. To continue that blessing, we have some wonderful events and fundraisers planned for our students and their families. Every year we have parents asking how they may complete their required PIP hours. There are so many ways to earn PIP hours, from serving at an event, to taking projects home (great for our working parents), to attending fundraisers and events. The following School and Auxiliary fundraisers WOULD NOT HAPPEN without your support, time and effort. We are forever grateful to those who bless our children with their time and love to make these events happen each year.

If you see a fundraiser below that you are interested in being a part of, please contact us! Not only will you be a HUGE blessing to St. John’s, it’s students, faculty and families - you will earn PIP hours for your service.

Book Fair
Nothing beats a Book Fair! Every spring, St. John's holds an annual book fair in the Walker Hall Gym. We have a great selection of kid-approved books at family-approved prices. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout Book Fair week to help us decorate, organize, help shoppers, and check out purchases.

Parent Involvement Program

Many hands make light work, and we are asking you to lend a hand. St. John’s Lutheran School has a mandatory Parent Involvement Program (PIP). Family members are encouraged to become involved according to their talents and interests. Each family with a student at SJLS is required to complete twenty (20) hours of PIP Hours each academic year. Opportunities for involvement are available in many areas of school life, including social activities, fund raisers, sports activities, classrooms, clerical help and special events.
PIP Hours worked will be reported to the school office by the homeroom teacher, Auxiliary chairperson and/or Ministry leader. PIP Hours are due by the last day of school at which time families who have not completed the hours will be billed $20/ hour for hours not served. For more information on our PIP program and the different service areas and contacts, please CLICK HERE!
There are so many ways to volunteer, and every department needs your help. Please use the volunteer portal link below to sign-up today! https://www.signupgenius.com/org/sjlsvolunteers#/
