Say Something Good about America!

For five years, our 2^nd graders have been presenting a musical called Say Something Good About America.   Originally brought to St. John’s in 2009 by Mrs. Cook, former 1st grade teacher, this program has grown to now include visits from President Washington and President Lincoln, dancing Yankee Doodles, songs that celebrate our country’s past, recognition for all 46 presidents, and a salute to all branches of the Armed Forces.  Weaved throughout the program are strong reminders of the many blessings that God has blessed our country with and the importance of putting our trust in Him.   This year’s program featured a special tribute to our country’s 250^th birthday.  If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate our amazing country and its upcoming birthday, we invite you to watch our recorded program.   We hope that by the end, you’ll also be joining us to sing along and also Say Something Good About America!
