8th Graders Experience East Coast Field Trip

What an incredible experience for our St. John’s 8th graders on their East Coast trip to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and New York City! While visiting our nation’s capital, students and parents had the opportunity to meet Dr. Greg Seltz, host of The Drive Home on 105.1 WAVA FM and one of America’s leading Christian voices.

 Dr. Seltz shared about his work in Washington, D.C., encouraging students to engage faith and leadership in today’s culture thoughtfully. He even interviewed several of our students about their experiences in D.C. for his radio program! 

Another meaningful moment of the trip was when four of our students had the honor of presenting a school wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. It was a memorable and impactful experience as students reflected on history, service, sacrifice, and all they learned throughout the trip.
