Blessed Holy Week and Happy Easter! He is Risen!

Holy Week, the most sacred week of the year, is a special week at St. John’s as we all journey to the cross together.  Each day we begin with devotions in church as a school body. 

This year our students had so much fun following “The Excellent Adventures of Micah and Josh” as they traveled back in time to find Jesus and get His help to write a report for school.  The daily episodes took us through the final week of Jesus’ life before Easter.  There were a lot of fun cameos by St. John’s staff members and most excellent air guitar-playing. 

Beyond the fun was the journey – Jesus’ Last Supper, praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, and ultimately, at the empty tomb where Micah and Josh finally found our risen Savior.  What a blessing it is to share this week together as we prepare our hearts for the celebration of Easter.   We pray that you and your families have a great Easter Break and joyously celebrate Easter and the victory won for us by our risen Lord.
