United in Christ!

The theme for the 2018-2019 school year is "Called To Be United in Christ." It is a wonderful theme to encourage students, families, teachers, and the whole community. It reminds us that God has called each and every one of us to be connected to St. John's and to each other. We are walking with the Lord together.

Mrs. Fink's class started the year off creating a puzzle. Each piece of the puzzle represents a student and their unique abilities, talents, and personalities. When we put the puzzle together though, we noticed there was a gap created in the middle that was in the shape of the cross. This reminds us that our completeness, or "oneness" is not something we can accomplish on our own - but we are consistently and daily called back to the cross.

The students also participated in creating a video to show our theme verse!
