Naturalists in Training!

Our enthusiastic 1st graders recently embarked on a field trip to the Newport Beach Environmental Nature Center. The center is a beautiful facility that promotes awareness and education about the environment, sustainability, and the natural world. The students were excited to learn about the different plants, animals, and ecosystems that make up our environment. Some of the highlights for the students were petting a snake, smelling wildflowers, and being up close and personal with a toad!

Throughout the tour, the students were encouraged to ask questions and engage with their surroundings. They were able to see firsthand the impact that humans have on the environment and how we can work to protect and preserve it for future generations.

This field trip was a memorable and educational experience for the 1st graders. They were able to connect with nature and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship in a fun and interactive way. The center's staff did an excellent job of making the experience engaging and informative, and the students left with a greater appreciation for the world around them.
