Johnny Appleseed Day
Oh, the Lord is good to me.
And so I thank the Lord,
For giving me, the things I need:
The sun, and the rain and the appleseed;
The Lord is good to me! Amen
This is always a favorite prayer we like to sing in kindergarten. This week, the kindergarteners were able to spend some time learning about John Chapman, also known as Johnny Appleseed. National Johnny Appleseed Day is held on September 26th and is always a fun day in our class. We did some fun apple projects and even used our iPads to create some silly pictures of ourselves.
