Food Commercials - 3rd Grade

Every year, different grades learn a different technology tool to utilize in their learning as part of the St. John’s technology curriculum.  In 3rd grade, students are introduced to the power of the  Apple Clips app as they promote their favorite food in an original commercial.  Not only do students learn how to add posters, pictures, animation and music to their video creations in Clips, but they also learn how to create a commercial that grabs the attention of the viewer.  In class, students discuss the parts of commercials such as slogans, appropriate wording and adjectives and matching their music, colors and animation to their food.  Overall, many mouth watering videos were created by the 3rd graders!
