El día de los Muertos

This week during Spanish class, we continued learning about Hispanic traditions. We celebrated "El día de los Muertos". The students grades K-5  learned the meaning of this day in which families gather to honor their loved ones.

Some of the activities included coloring Dia de los Muertos skulls, making "papel picado", tasting some "pan de muerto" and some "horchata". We had a wonderful time!
