Digital Citizenship - 6th Grade

In sixth digital citizenship class, we delved into online privacy and data security intricacies. Students examine their digital footprint and discover ways to limit their footprint by learning how to manage "cookies." Lessons such as Chatting Online Safely, Digital Drama, Who Are You Online, and Finding Balances in a Digital World help students gain a deeper understanding of online safety and give them tools to navigate social media use relationships. Students also develop their engineering, coding, and computational thinking skills by building a computer using a Piper kit and Swift Playgrounds. 

By empowering our students with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world responsibly, we're fostering a safer online community and nurturing a generation of informed and conscientious digital citizens.
