COVID Vaccine Parent Survey Results

Below is the executive summary of the recent COVID vaccine survey results. The purpose of this survey was to get a "snapshot" of where people are in their decision making about the mandate.

The COVID vaccine mandate that Governor Newsom spoke about is not written yet, so no decisions on this are imminent. St. John's will continue to pray, get feedback from legal advisors, and make God-pleasing decisions. Thank you for your prayers through this! They are felt! ~ Dr. Hollatz

• The survey was completed by nearly 400 people over a 2 and a half week period.

• Of those surveyed, a wide majority do not support a COVID vaccine mandate.

• Many families surveyed would go so far as to pull their children from school or move out of state if such a mandate was enforced.

• The support for a "personal/religious belief" exemption from the COVID vaccine is very high.

• Nearly 3/4 of the survey participants would not get their child vaccinated for COVID, under any circumstance.

• The support for teachers to make their own choices on the vaccine is very high.

• Most survey participants would support St. John's defying the mandate.
