Spring Brings Life!
Spring brings life! Third grade students are having fun learning about life cycles, food chains, and ecosystems! We have lots of plants and critters in our class to get a hands-on look at all these life cycles in action. We are enjoying our plant life cycles with our Venus fly trap, Lima beans, sunflowers, and corn. Students are watching painted lady and monarch caterpillars grow and will eventually see their metamorphosis into butterflies! Tadpoles will turn into frogs soon and praying mantises will hatch from their eggs cases. SO. MUCH. LIFE. How incredible is our Creator, that He not only made all these plants and animals…but He also made YOU! WE are created in His image and are fearfully and wonderfully made to honor and praise Him. His creation shows His glory and we do too! What a wonderful season to celebrate new life in spring, not only with all these life cycles, but by focusing on the new life that Jesus gives us…from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky…Lord we lift your name on high🙌🏼 The most beautiful picture of life that we can reflect on in this life giving season ❤️
