Sewing & Design Elective

A new middle school elective this year is sewing and design class, taught by Mrs. Bour and Mrs. Elliott.  Students are learning how to use a sewing machine, select fabric, and follow a pattern.  They have made their own pillowcases and are working on tote bags right now.  The best part is that everything can be customized so the students can make each project using their own fabric choices and custom details.  Hopefully, students will enjoy using these sewing skills throughout their lives!
