Library Time!
The weekly visit to our school library is always a day 2ndgraders look forward to! Our students know that adventure awaits! Mrs. Barber, our librarian, shares wonderful stories with us.
This week she read a book to us that is the TRUE story of Winnie the Pooh. We learned a bit about geography, world history, and the eating habits of bears, all wrapped into the true story of a young bear that started off in Winnipeg, Canada and ended up in a zoo in London, visited by a young boy named Christopher Robin.
There is never a shortage of great books when it comes time to checkout. The 2nd graders can’t wait to open up their selections and get busy reading. Our library is truly a place full of fun and inspiring adventures!
