Game Designing

The entire third-grade class is currently exploring life cycles as part of our science unit. To extend their learning, students are working collaboratively to design their own educational games. To prepare, they watched videos and conducted research to learn about various animals, their life cycles, and how they interact within ecosystems. In creating their games, students are thoughtfully selecting animals that belong in specific habitats and making sure to include accurate prey and predator relationships. Rather than placing animals randomly, they're using what they've learned to build realistic food webs and ecosystems. This project allows them to apply their scientific knowledge creatively while deepening their understanding in an engaging and meaningful way.
