Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program that has been used in school nationwide for more than 70 years. St. John’s hosts a Battle of the Books competition for private elementary schools in Orange County. Throughout the year, students in 4th and 5th grade read and study from a list of 20 books selected by the librarian or teacher representative from each school. St. John’s teams will compete in February, while the final two teams will move on to compete in the final battle in March. Contact Amy Neben
