St. John's Lutheran School has been dedicated to quality Christian education for children since 1883. Its commitment to a Christ centered and academically excellent program has gained it an honored spot among Orange County's private and church-related schools.

St. John's focus is on the whole child. It seeks to offer a broad and challenging educational experience. Beginning in Kindergarten and continuing through the 8th grade, the basics are covered thoroughly. The school emphasizes caring, mutually-respectful relationships. It fosters growth in responsibility. Children are also furthered physically and aided in developing healthy identities that combine sound values and faith in the Triune God. St. John's prepares today's children as whole persons for tomorrow.

St. John's Lutheran School is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and National Lutheran School Accreditation.

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) has awarded St. John’s Lutheran School a full 6-year accreditation!! This is an incredible accomplishment. Thank you to the faculty, staff, students and parents who played such a vital role in the accreditation process. We are very blessed. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!

Prepare For The Worst- Respond With Your Best An emergency is any situation - actual or imminent - that endangers the safety and lives of people or the security of the properties.

Churches are often quick to respond to an emergency. Yet many are learning the hard way that good intentions and faithfulness to purpose is not enough. The staff of St. John's is ever mindful of its responsibility to the thousands of people that are on the campus each week involved in school and ministry and they are prepared to respond should an emergency arise.

The CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN has been developed to provide some direction in the event of an emergency requiring actions and decisions. The midst of a crisis is not the time to start figuring out who ought to do what. The CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN has been placed next to an exit in every classroom, office, and fellowship room or worship center throughout the campus and can be used as a quick reference for the proper response during an emergency. St. John's staff from the top to the bottom has been trained to help ensure the safety of the people on our campus during a crisis.

The CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN includes comprehensive Emergency Responses, First Aid Protocol as well as an Emergency Evacuation Procedure should such an action be required. In addition, St. John's has prepared an Emergency Shed adjacent to the teacher's workroom, playground and athletic field. The shed is stocked with enough emergency supplies, food and water to accommodate up to a thousand people in case of a long term emergency.

Thank you for taking time to review the CRISIS MANAGEMENT PLAN and also being prepared with us.
