Mrs. Martinez’s St. John’s roots run deep - serving at St. John’s for 13 years!  She was born in Ohio, but has lived in California for 34 years.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Azusa Pacific University.   In addition to her role at St. John’s, Mrs. Martinez holds a number of leadership positions in the Lutheran and Early Childhood Education communities, including sitting on the PSD Early Childhood Cabinet, NLSA Accreditation Team Leader and Commissioner and a consultant to the PSD Consultancy Team.  She considers it an honor and privilege to serve at SJLS and finds great joy in walking alongside our preschool families and watching them grow in their faith with Jesus. When not shepherding St. John’s littlest Mustangs and watching them grow in Jesus’ love, she enjoys attending sporting events with her husband and three sons (two graduated from and one is currently attending St. John’s).
